Memories

On Weds. last week I had a blast from the past. I was running a transaction for a customer in the drive through and I recognized his name. He and I weren't good friends, but just 5th grade acquaintances. I wasn't sure if it was him or not but when I heard him talk and saw the shape of his head I knew it was him. I didn't tell him who I was, didn't feel appropriate. It's very interesting how Ross and I were basically in the same place a decade ago. I don't know much about him other than he's married and banks at Regions. I'll say something next time, if there is a next time... It should be interesting.

Lingo

The other day an officer of the bank when referring to money that was neither here nor there said it was in, "lingo." My coworkers talk about threatening to call their live in boyfriends' parole officer. All I do is ask people how they like the weather.

I need a new job.
