I pretty much have free reign to put whatever I want. I'll write about work, life, the world, my friends, sports, finances or something funny that happens.

Why do I like what I like?
Some things can grow on a guy (and no, I'm not talking about fungus.) I have been a listener to talk radio for the past 3 years or so, but not the kind I listen to now. I have liked ESPN Radio for ever, but now I have begun listening to FMTalk 93.9. It is a conservative talk radio station. Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, and the other person I listen to is Dave Ramsey. One thing I noticed is how opinionated they are. For a while it was getting on my nerves how what they said was the bottom line. They will not hear any opposing opinions. If they do they call them idiots, or any other sundry of words. Hannity makes fun of his opposing democrats. Savage has a book that is entitled Liberalism Is a Mental Disorder. All of this extreme opinion is a little taxing at times. No one is really as staunch as these guys come across. But I have come to realize that it is part of the show. People do not tune in to hear, "I think this... but I am not sure." They tune in for an opinion, even if they do not agree. Some people will tune in to hear their positions supported, and others tune in to become enraged at what they think is blasphemy. It is interesting to think about...

I heard Savage for the first time the other week - what a freak! But I guess that's why he gets air time...? And I've heard Limbaugh, God save us... so who's the main liberal freak radio personality?
