So what's the deal folks?! Every time I turn around I hear someone talking about their, "facebook" site. I had never heard the term before about a month ago, and I would bet 90% of the campus hadn't heard the words muttered before this year. Now probably half of the school is just going nuts about what so-and-so left on my message board, or "did you see the new group I created?" I mean, "I wear flip flops and drink coffee." Get serious "the woo." I mean, we live on a campus that has a grand total of what 3 acres? Go across the hall and see what the person looks like. I've gotten pretty sick of the aol craze at times, but this one just rubs me the wrong way for some reason. Hopefully it's like indwes.com and it lasts for around a semester then people forget about it.
I can understand how someone might want to look up friends from highschool and see what they are doing with them selves, but I know many of you iwuers are checking up on your roomates and girl/boyfriends. It all seems kind of rediculous. Call me old fashioned... No, seriously, call me it.
Oh, and if you're wondering why I have that picture up and I'm slamming facebook... It really is just a coincidence. There was no premeditation.
