I pretty much have free reign to put whatever I want. I'll write about work, life, the world, my friends, sports, finances or something funny that happens.

An Update on My Life
Well, I am at work. I just had my lunch. It was my usual, PB&J, cheeze-it's and a nectar. I am listening to ESPN radio on the internet. I really like the shows on there. Mike and Mike, Colin Cowherd, Dan Patrick. These people get me through my day. Today and the last week has been pretty crazy. My first two deals are coming together. It is a little stressful. I do not know exactly what needs to take place and it gets me a little worked up. The good news is for some reason, by the grace of God, I have been blessed with things coming together that have shocked people that are in this business every day. That's good. Another nice thing is I am only dealing with friends at this point and I know they are willing to be gracious. :) thanks guys if you read this!

American Idol
I am at work, (listening to ESPN radio), and they are talking about this silly show that I've never watched. The guy on the radio (Eric) is talking about the categories of TV shows. There are 4. 1, you have to watch it. If you are not, you're a loser. 2. It is ok, if you watch it you're ok. 3. is if you are with your wife or girlfriend it's ok. 4. Watch it under no circumstances. The guy proposes that American Idol can be all 4! It's really funny. Some people set their weekly schedules around this show, and they cannot do anything but watch it when it's on. I haven't watched, but i'm pretty sure I would not fall in love with it. I have a hard time keeping track with a handful of characters, so they're all the same to me. They all sing good, and I doubt my favorite would win. I do like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. Couldn't tell you the names of any other winners though.

Remarkable Timing
I have impeccably remarkable timing. Two weeks ago I signed up for Netflix. Netflix is an Internet based company that will send you a DVD of your choosing and you send it back and they send you another movie for a relatively small monthly fee. It is a good system and works really well. The usual turn around time is 2-3 days. I was so excited about seeing all the movies I had wanted to see but not spend 3.50 on. When you have unlimited rentals, you watch movies you've already seen, or wanted to see but had not yet. Later that night, of the day I signed up, I saw an advertisement for blockbuster's service that had the exact same features at the exact same price plus the option to return your movie to one of their brick and mortar stores at no charge other than the montly fee. I finished out my 2 week free trial of netflix today and signed up for blockbuster. I then saw this web site today.

That link goes to a story that details the launch of Netflix new service that allows you to watch movies on your computer from a streaming feed off their servers at no extra charge.
Maybe I should do some research in the future when it comes to what services I subscribe to!

Blessings
So, I'm pretty sure I got had on that ebay deal. I wasn't careful enough and the ps3 is on it's way to Africa and I haven't seen a nickle. But that isn't what this is about. I have really been blessed by God over the last couple of months. Staci told me she would marry me, and nothing has ever made me happier! I got a job, that I am enjoying right now. IWU sent me a check for about $600 a week ago, and that financial blessing is much appreciated. I graduated in December and am enjoying the freedom of not going to class every day. I just wanted to let the world know that I am very thankful for all of this!

Update on Ebay
Well, I never heard back from that guy. I'm guessing either it wasn't legit, or he found someone else who responded more quickly (I had to wait until monday and he sent it on Sunday). But the good news is I sold it for 810 (including shipping). But I have to ship it to Africa. I figure the most that will be is $100, so I've made probably $50 or so. I'll take it!

Ebay
So, I decided to go out on a limb this weekend. For the first time in months I saw a PS3 for sale at Wal-Mart. These things were a secondary market gold mine before Christmas. Now, well, I'm not sure. I decided I could buy it and always take it back. Thank you Wal-Mart! I posted it on Ebay later that night. I saw that the consoles are no longer selling for 1000's but they are doing ok. I got an email this morning and a guy offered me 1800. Not sure what to think! I'm trying to get a hold of him to see what he is all about, as I am not going to ship $600 unless I get mine. I really hope it works out! I'll keep you posted!
